Industry linkages through government grants
Government programs to encourage collaboration benefit both industry and the University. We are one of the most successful organisations in attracting these grants and Sydnovate provides expert advice and assistance in preparing applications for a range of programs.
- ARC's Linkage Project Grant Scheme
- a Linkage Project is a research project funded by the Australian Research Council (ARC) and jointly initiated and undertaken by the University together with an industry partner. The scheme matches cash and in-kind contributions by industry to fund specific projects as well as Australian Postdoctoral Fellowships (Industry) and Australian Postgraduate Awards (Industry). - Australian Research Council (ARC) Linkage Infrastructure and Equipment Facilities (LIEF)

- offers a number of competitive grants schemes and incentives to industry in which universities may participate as collaborators or subcontractors. - Co-operative Research Centres Program
- this program brings together outstanding research groups from universities, CSIRO and other government laboratories and private industry to conduct substantial, long term collaborative research and development efforts which will contribute to national objectives. - National Health and Medical Research Centre (NHMRC) Development Grants
- have been designed to facilitate development of products, processes and procedures for human health with the potential for commercialisation.
