Role of the Dean of Graduate Studies (DoGS)
The Dean of Graduate Studies serves as a focus for all postgraduate research and coursework activities across the University. The Office of the Dean of Graduate Studies works closely with Deans, Associate Deans (Postgraduate Studies), Heads of Schools/Departments, Postgraduate Coordinators, Supervisors, SUPRA and Postgraduate Students.
The DoGS Office works primarily for the benefit and development of all postgraduate students at the University of Sydney.

Associate Professor Alison Bashford, Associate Professor of History, is the Acting Dean of Graduate Studies.
