Vice-Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence 2021

Recognising and celebrating our colleagues
The University recognises exceptional staff performance through our peer-nominated recognition program, the Vice-Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence.

The Vice-Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence were established in 2016 to celebrate exceptional staff performance at the University. As a whole-of-University, peer-nominated program, the awards recognise impact, leadership, entrepreneurship, mentorship, and industry and community engagement, as well as outstanding performance in the support of research and education, and professional service.

This year 95 University staff members have been recognised with Vice-Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence, across 15 categories.

There have been so many outstanding achievements, reflecting the commitment of our staff to the vital work of the University across a range of endeavours, including contributions to the local and global efforts to combat COVID-19. This is even more remarkable when you consider the far-reaching and sustained impact of the pandemic on all of our own lives and ways of working. My warmest congratulations to our very deserving award winners for 2021 and to everyone who was nominated.
Vice-Chancellor and Principal Mark Scott
