Former students

Information about our former students and graduates
Key resources to search for former students.

Alumni Sidneienses – maintained by the University Archives – allows you to search for graduates of the University of Sydney from 1857 to 1985. Women graduates may be listed by their married names, even where they married after graduation.

Women graduates (married) to 1930 (pdf, 1.8MB) lists student's married and single names. Not all students are included.

The University of Sydney Calendars 1852–1974 provide information about enrolled students including lists of undergraduates, prize, medal and scholarship winners, past examination results for matriculation and University studies (failures are not recorded), and lists of graduates.

The Conservatorium of Music opened in May 1915. Private tuition was available for a fee from 1916. Private students were not studying for the Diploma of State Conservatorium of Music (DSCM) and their results are not in these records.
