Towards Creative Schools Conference 2025

The "Towards Creative Schools Conference" at the University of Sydney will be an essential gathering for educators, policymakers, artists, and academics committed to the future of creative education.

Hosted by the CREATE Centre, this two-day conference will explore the integration of creativity and arts-based learning in schools.

Bringing together voices from the forefront of Australian education, the conference will showcase innovative approaches to embedding creative practices in classrooms across the country.

Through hands-on workshops, paper presentations, and panel discussions, participants will engage with the possibilities of creative pedagogies, arts-based learning, and arts-rich processes.

Keynote speakers include Professor Lynette Riley, Laura McBain, Professor Anne Bamford, and Professor Pat Thomson. The program will also feature presentations from Marie Bashir Public School, Ngutu College, The Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Gregory Hills Public School, and Newington College.
