Education Policy Research Network

Putting education faculties at the forefront of school education
We exist to encourage education faculties to be at the centre of discussion, critique, and policy research in school education.

Our major areas of focus? Quality teaching, policies for equity and parent engagement.

At the Education Policy Research Network, we’ve created a new space to disseminate, share and discuss expertise, research and scholarship. We leverage existing work from the Sydney School of Education and Social Work at the University of Sydney, and apply our expertise to policy analysis, policy debate and policy making.

Our primary research areas are:

  • Policy for equity and social justice
  • Curriculum and assessment
  • Quality teaching and teacher education
  • Parent and community engagement and public school autonomy
  • Policy implementation in schools and higher-education institutions.
