The Business School offers MBA and Management scholarships designed to recognise potential, assist those in need and reward high achievement.

Our Management Education scholarships are awarded to applicants who have made an impact in their chosen area and demonstrate potential for future achievement supported by postgraduate study in management.

MBA Scholarships

Our part-time MBA scholarships are awarded to support students in covering their tuition fees.

The UN Women Australia MBA Scholarship is valued at over $70,000 and covers full tuition fees for a maximum of four years of part-time study. 

It is awarded to applicants who demonstrate experience and outstanding future potential in their chosen field, have an interest in gender equality, and are passionate about using business skills to drive social change.

Applications for Semester 1, 2026 are now closed.

The Future Leaders MBA Scholarship is valued at over $70,000 and covers full tuition fees for a maximum of four years of part-time study.

It is awarded to applicants who demonstrate leadership experience and outstanding future potential in their chosen field. Applicants for the Future Leaders MBA scholarship are also automatically considered for the Social Impact Scholarship.

The Anstice MBA Scholarship for Community Leadership is valued at over $70,000 and covers full tuition fees for four years of part-time study.

This scholarship is awarded to assist emerging leaders in community organisations in acquiring world class business and management skills. Preference will be given to those who currently are employed within the not-for-profit and social enterprise sectors.

Applications for Semester 1, 2026 are now closed.

The Alek Safarian MBA Scholarship is valued at over $70,000 and covers full tuition fees for four years of part-time study.

It supports emerging leaders in pharmacy, pharmacology, medicine, nursing or science who have an interest in the pharmaceutical industry. Preference will be given to those who have a qualification awarded by the University of Sydney in the listed areas.

The Indigenous Australians Leading in Business MBA Scholarship is valued at over $70,000 and covers a maximum 4 years of the tuition fees for enrolment in the part-time MBA.

The scholarship aims to accelerate the rate at which Indigenous Australians move into senior leadership roles within all forms of Australian enterprises.

Applications for Semester 1, 2026 are now closed.

The Professional Leadership Development Scholarship (MBA) will cover 50% of the recipient’s tuition fees for a maximum duration of up to four years for a student enrolled part-time.

This scholarship supports University of Sydney staff to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Sydney Business School.

MBA (Technology and Digital Strategy) Scholarships

Our MBA (Technology and Digital Strategy) scholarships are awarded by the Director of the MBA program to partially cover tuition fees. 

The MBA Director's Scholarship is valued at between $10,000 - $40,000 for self-funded candidates for our online MBA (Technology and Digital Strategy).

Applications are currently being accepted for enrolment into the MBA (Technology and Digital Strategy) commencing in 2026.

The Indigenous Australians Leading in Business MBA (Technology and Digital Strategy) Scholarship is valued at over $70,000 and covers a maximum 4 years of the tuition fees for enrolment in the MBA (Technology and Digital Strategy).

The scholarship aims to accelerate the rate at which Indigenous Australians move into senior leadership roles within all forms of Australian enterprises.

Application dates for Semester 1, 2026:

The scholarship is valued at 50% of the tuition fees for maximum duration of up to 4 years.

Our full-time MBA scholarships are awarded by the Director of the MBA program to partially cover tuition fees. 

MBA Director's Scholarship

The MBA Director's Scholarship is valued at varying amounts each to local and international self-funded candidates for our full-time MBA program.

It supports emerging leaders in all fields based on professional experience, academic achievement, community and extracurricular involvement and leadership qualities. 

Applications are currently being accepted for enrolment into the MBA (Leadership and Enterprise) commencing in 2026.

Executive MBA Scholarships

Our Executive MBA scholarships are awarded to support our students, recognise achievement and offer financial assistance.

The UN Women Australia Executive MBA Scholarship is valued at over $70,000 and covers 66% tuition fees tenable for the duration of the degree (1.5 years).  

This scholarship aims to advance the commitment shared by the Sydney Business School and the UN Women Australia to women’s leadership and accelerating progress towards gender equality.

The Cultural Diversity in Business Scholarship covers 50% of tuition fees for the full-time duration of the Executive MBA program.

This scholarship is awarded to  someone who identifies as from a minority group

The Indigenous Australians Leading in Business Global Executive MBA Scholarship covers full tuition fees, tenable for the duration of the degree (1.5 years).

This scholarship has been established with the goal of accelerating the rate at which Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians move into senior leadership roles within all forms of Australian enterprises.

Applications for Semester 1, 2026 are now closed.

The Leadership for Social Impact Global Executive MBA Scholarship covers 50% of the tuition fees for the normal duration of the Executive MBA program, tenable for up to 18 months of full-time study (intensive mode).

This scholarship supports people involved in driving social change to study the Global Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Semester 1, 2026 application dates:

  • Applications close: 8 October 2025

The Dean's Excellence Scholarship provide 20% of tuition fees for the full-time duration of the recipient's Executive MBA program.

The scholarship supports commencing Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) students at the University of Sydney Business School.
