This course will equip participants to appraise, design, analyse and summarise quantitative health data including regression analyses and is designed for those new to biostatistics.
The Sydney Professional Certificate in Biostatistics in Health consists of 2 online or on-campus units of study that provide an introduction to statistical concepts in health.
You will learn the use and relevance of statistics in public health, descriptive analyses to summarise and display data, concepts of statistical inference, continuous and binary data analysis and statistical aspects of study design.
You will also learn how to select and apply the appropriate regression modelling techniques for continuous, categorical and time-to-event outcome data.
