Taking the Construction Management Major will give you much greater depth of knowledge in this field along with breadth of skills across all disciplines in Civil Engineering. Your course of study in the Construction Management Major will include organisation and management, design and construction, the economics of construction projects and project administration systems. You will learn about infrastructure in large construction projects and gain skills in professional project management.

Graduate opportunities

Construction engineers engage in the design of temporary structures, quality assurance and quality control, building and site layout surveys, on site material testing, concrete mix design, cost estimating, planning and scheduling, safety engineering, materials procurement, and cost engineering and budgeting. You will be a graduate with sound engineering knowledge and competency in the application of projects and programs in the construction industry.
