About this major

The Global Business major will prepare you to be a leader in fast-paced and dynamic global businesses, government agencies and international non-for-profit organisations. 

This major combines deep insights into global business strategies, environmental and cultural analysis, and regional expertise with the technical skills for managing complex, agile, and sustainable global operations and supply chains in today’s rapidly evolving world. 

You will engage in rigorous coursework covering global business operations, cross-cultural management, international trade, logistics, procurement, and supply chain analytics, all with an emphasis on sustainability, digital transformation, technology adoption, agility and adaptability. The major will equip you with the ability to respond swiftly and effectively to the challenges of a fast-changing global business environment, preparing you to navigate and lead through change.  

A unique feature of this major is its focus on responsible international business practices; you will learn how to design and manage operations and supply chains that are not only efficient and resilient but also environmentally and socially responsible. The curriculum is complemented by real-world applications, so you’ll have opportunities to collaborate on industry projects with industry leaders in Australia and overseas.
