Indigenous Music gives students an opportunity to develop a deep understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, the music of multicultural communities in Australia in their various geographical, historical, social and cultural settings.

Career pathways

The minor can offer a pathway to a vast array of rewarding careers such as writing about music as a journalist, commentator, critic, or media professional, or arts administration, including curating, marketing, festival and venue management.
