Our Aerospace Design specialisation is ideal for those wishing to gain additional hands-on experiential learning in aerospace design.

The specialisation offers the opportunity for you to learn more about a range of flight platforms and systems, including vertical flight aircraft and space launch systems, autonomous aerospace systems, and novel flight concepts.

It will also allow you to undertake a team-based project analysing, designing, manufacturing, testing and operating aerospace flight platforms to meet industry-relevant requirements.

Graduate opportunities

As a graduate of our Aerospace Design specialisation, you will possess system-level understanding of flight platforms and be better skilled when working on any aspect of aerospace systems, be it in design and development of products or sub-systems, maintenance and sustainment, and/or operation of aerospace platform systems to meet industry and/or regulatory requirements.

You may wish to pursue a career in defence, engineering consultancies, MRO (maintenance, repair and operations) companies, airlines, and aviation regulatory organisations.
