It also emphasises corporate governance, organisational structures, risk assessment and control structures for data and information security.

With unprecedented abilities and opportunities to collect personal and/or commercially sensitive data, information security has become essential aspect of cybersecurity.

While regulatory authorities are introducing new information privacy and security regulations and guidelines, the general public is also becoming aware of the value of protecting their digital data.
