The Environmental Studies specialisation examines the social, economic and regulatory contexts that surround the management and monitoring of environmental and ecosystem health. 

This specialisation incorporates both social and bio-physical phenomena within their regulatory and policy frameworks, and is therefore inherently multi-disciplinary.
