Specialisation

Our Aerospace Systems specialisation is ideal for those wishing to gain additional hands-on experiential learning in aerospace design, aerodynamics and flight data analysis.

The specialisation offers the opportunity to undertake team-based projects including design and prototyping, experimentation and testing. There is a strong focus on laboratory-based work including use of the wind tunnel and flight simulation lab.

Graduate opportunities

As a graduate of our Aerospace Systems specialisation, you will possess system-level understanding and be better skilled when working on any aspect of aerospace challenges, be it in analysis, design and development of products or sub-systems, maintenance and sustainment, and/or operation of aerospace systems to meet industry and/or regulatory requirements.

You may wish to pursue a career in defence, engineering consultancies, MRO (maintenance, repair and operations) companies, airlines, and aviation regulatory organisations.
