Project portfolio management focuses on the allocation of organizational resources across programs and projects of different types which together aim to deliver the outcomes and benefits necessary to achieve organizational strategy. Program management is concerned with the integrated management of projects and other resources to achieve specific organizational strategies and business benefits. Organisational change and transformation is most often delivered through programs which are characterized by complexity, and require leadership and innovation.
