Poetry Workshop - ENGL6986

This unit allows students to work intensively on a portfolio of poetry in a supportive peer group context whilst also developing their critical skills in reading and responding to a wide range of poetry. We will explore current developments in poetry, covering areas such as contemporary lyric, documentary and activist poetics, word and image, erasure and other forms of 'writing through', sound and performance, and processual poetry.
