Perinatal and Women's Health - MDMP5337

Year - 2020

Perinatal and Women's Health Block is undertaken by medical students enrolled in Stage 3 of the MD. This is a Specialty Block.

Classes
Undertaken at the student's assigned Clinical School or other locations as advised.

Assessment
In-Block assessments comprising 70% of the final graded mark including a written SBA summative assessment and an Observed Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) and formative required assessments. In addition, the Perinatal and Women's Health module in the integrated Stage 3 Barrier Examination will comprise 30% of the total Perinatal and Women's Health grade and will contribute to the Total Barrier Score in Year 3/Year 4 depending satisfactory completion of the block. 100% attendance at required learning activities is required.
