Join the Faculty of Engineering and IT on Thursday 17 August for the launch of the Immersive Learning Laboratory – the largest of its kind in Australia.

Discover firsthand how virtual reality technology has revolutionised educational opportunities by allowing students the opportunity to experience and interact in diverse environments.

The Immersive Learning Laboratory is the result of an Education Innovation Grant and will enable academics to teach using immersive content based on interactive 360° videos of real environments or constructed virtual realities.

Find out more about the laboratory’s features, benefits and applications. You will also have the opportunity to hear directly from academics currently utilising the technology, exchange ideas and experience virtual reality for yourself.
