Peer Observation and Review of Teaching (PORT) Colloquium

Peer Observation and Review of Teaching (PORT)

Reviving the ‘lecture’ – resuscitation toolkit

In this colloquium, participants in the 2017 Peer Observation and Review of Teaching (PORT) program from The University of Sydney’s Faculty of Science and School of Medical Sciences will share their remedies for the ‘ailing lecture’.  Additionally, we will showcase the game-based platform Kahoot!, which is breathing new life into the lecture, and the versatile Lt / kuraCloud  platform which is changing how we run lab classes. Join us for a two and a half hour discussion focused on rethinking teaching and student engagement.

Please BYOD (bring your own device) and download the Kahoot! App so you can participate in a Kahoot! Demonstration.

When: Wednesday 15 November 2017, 12:30 – 3:00pm
Where: Abercrombie Building ABS Seminar Room 2050
