Alumni Awards
Celebrating excellence
Since 1980, the University of Sydney has recognised over 200 alumni for achievements in their fields and outstanding leadership. These exceptional alumni come from all walks of life and demonstrate a commitment to empowering progress in their communities through their local, national, and international contributions.

The Alumni Awards acknowledge the achievements of extraordinary alumni across two classifications. There are six Alumni Achievement Awards and six Graduate Medals, each with their own criteria.
Nominations for the annual Alumni Awards can be submitted by peers, colleagues, friends and family of alumni. If you know someone who is dedicated to excellence in their chosen field, integrity, creativity, determination, leadership, resilience or compassion, nominate them for an award.
