Ohm's Law and Kirchoff's Laws; action of Current and Voltage sources; network analysis and the superposition theorem; Thevenin and Norton equivalent circuits; inductors and capacitors, transient response of RL, RC and RLC circuits; the ability to use power supplies, oscilloscopes, function generators, meters, etc.

Electrical Engineering Stream Specialist units

All ELEC 3000-level, 4000-level or 5000-level units of study are Electrical Engineering Stream Specialist units.
Complete a minimum of 36 credit points of ELEC 3000-level, 4000-level or 5000-level units of study.
Complete a maximum of 12 credit points of units of study from the Bachelor of Engineering Honours General Elective table.
