Resolutions of the Senate Sydney Pharmacy School

The faculties of Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing and Midwifery, and Pharmacy are now schools within the Faculty of Medicine and Health.

Current courses and units of study offered through the schools will continue as the University transitions to the new faculty.

Existing faculty resolutions, including award course resolutions transfer to the new faculty. The University of Sydney (Governance of Faculties and University Schools) Rule 2016 (289KB PDF) covers the management and governance framework for the new faculty.

Any future changes to academic programs offered will be developed and approved through the University’s normal mechanisms involving the faculty, the Academic Board and the University Senate.

 

Resolutions of the Senate

1 Degrees, diplomas and certificates of the Faculty of Pharmacy

(1)
With the exception of the Doctor of Philosophy, the Senate, by authority of the University of Sydney Act 1989 (as amended), provides and confers the following degrees, diplomas and certificates, according to the rules specified by the Faculty of Pharmacy. The Doctor of Philosophy is provided and conferred according to the rules specified by the Senate and the Academic Board.

This list is amended with effect from 1 January, 2018. Degrees, diplomas and certificates no longer open for admission will be conferred by the Senate according to the rules specified by the Faculty at the time.
