About the Faculty of Medicine and Health

The Faculty of Medicine and Health brings together the areas of dentistry, health sciences, medicine, medical sciences, nursing and midwifery, public health and pharmacy.

The consolidation of these disciplines simplifies the way that the University teaches and researches all aspects of healthcare.

The faculty is designed to enable innovation, excellence and strategic vision in teaching, research and clinical practice.

We are committed to making changes and advancements to ensure our medical and health disciplines are positioned to address the important challenges of healthcare in the 21st century.

The Faculty of Medicine and Health includes:

  • The University of Sydney School of Dentistry
  • The University of Sydney School of Health Sciences
  • The School of Medical Sciences
  • The University of Sydney School of Medicine
  • The University of Sydney Susan Wakil School of Nursing and Midwifery (Sydney Nursing School)
  • The University of Sydney School of Pharmacy, and
  • The University of Sydney School of Public Health.

It also includes ten clinical schools:
