Pathway: Public Health

The Public Health Pathway provides specialist education and training in public health aspects of sexual and reproductive health. Students will study public health methods and approaches in evaluating issues related to HIV, STIs, sexual and reproductive health, program development, prevention, management and health promotion. Students are able to choose from a wide range of units of study in the sexual and reproductive health area.

The Pathway is aimed at health professionals, policy makers, public health practitioners, health promotion specialists and educators wishing to gain a more in depth knowledge and practical understanding of the public health aspects of HIV, STIs and sexual and reproductive health.

This Pathway is also suitable for recent graduates from science, medical science, social science, medicine, public health or other health disciplines interested in pursuing a career in the public health aspects of HIV, STIs and sexual and reproductive health.
