Geotechnical Engineering

Geotechnical Engineering

The Geotechnical Engineering specialisation will provide you with the essential technical skills and knowledge related to geotechnical engineering, including the design of foundations, computer modelling, and environmental geotechnics.

Geotechnical engineers examine the soil and rock layers that make up the earth in order to determine their physical and chemical properties so that they can design foundations and earthworks structures for buildings, roads, and many other types of projects.
