Surgery

Graduate Certificate in Advanced Clinical Skills (Surgical Anatomy)

Unit outlines will be available through Find a unit outline two weeks before the first day of teaching for 1000-level and 5000-level units, or one week before the first day of teaching for all other units.

Surgery

Graduate Certificate in Advanced Clinical Skills (Surgical Anatomy)

Students complete 24 credit points, including:
(a) 24 credit points of stream specific units of study
(b) the following streams are available:
(i) Surgical Anatomy
A unit of study is worth 6 credit points and represents approximately 10 hours of study per week in a 13-week semester.
Credit points obtained in this course can be credited to the Graduate Certificate in Surgery, Graduate Diploma in Surgery or Master of Surgery (without graduating from this course).

Thorax, Back, Spinal Cord by Dissection
6    A This is an advanced course and it is recommended for advanced trainees who are preparing for the GSSE or for a SET program. It is also available if you have completed other Anatomy courses/training.
