Social Justice

Coursework

Students undertaking a postgraduate degree in Social Justice will engage with the key issues of human rights, sustainable development and the creation of enduring peace. The challenges of achieving social justice are examined at local, national and global scales through the prism of social justice. Our programs provide creative teaching tools, theoretical foundations, and numerous opportunities for practice-based understanding of core social justice issues, with opportunities for streams in development studies, human rights or peace and conflict studies. Students complete a capstone in which they intern at a local or overseas organization, complete a research-based supervised dissertation, or undertake an independent research project.
