Master of Project and Program Management

To qualify for the award of the Master of Project and Program Management a candidate must complete 48 credit points including:
(a) 18 credit points of Strategic Core units of study;
(b) 30 credit points from either the coursework pathway or the research pathway.

(c) To complete the coursework pathway a candidate must complete 30 credit points of elective units of study comprising:

(i) 6 credit points of capstone experience units; and
(ii) 24 credit points of Elective units of study, including:

i. Minimum 6 and maximum 12 credit points of Technical Electives
ii. Minimum 6 and maximum 12 credit points of Strategic Electives and
iii. Minimum 6 and maximum 12 credit points of Leadership Electives

(d) To complete the research pathway a candidate must complete:

(i) 18 credit points of Thesis Units; and
(ii) 6 credit points of Technical Electives and
(iii) 6 credit points of Leadership Electives.

Note that the research pathway is not currently available but may be made available in future years.
To qualify for the award of the Graduate Certificate in Project and Program Management a candidate must complete:
(a) 12 credit points from the Strategic Core units of study; and

(b) 12 credit points of Elective units of study.

(i) Minimum 6 credit points of Technical Elective
(ii) Minimum 6 credit points of Leadership Elective

Note: if Candidates wish to pursue a Thesis pathway in the Master of Project and Program Management, they are required to take Introduction to Research in Project Studies during their Graduate Certificate studies.
