The Graduate Diploma in Psychology is a pathway to Honours and higher degrees in Psychology, and to registration as a psychologist. It is for students who have completed a Bachelor’s degree.
As a part of this course, you will study areas of experimental psychology, mental health and psychopathology, research methods in psychology, and a range of other topics that are included in our accredited Psychology Program.
Upon completion of the course, graduates will have completed a Level 1 Psychology Program accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC), identical to that available in our other APAC accredited degrees.
Students who successfully complete the Graduate Diploma in Psychology will be eligible to apply for a place in fourth year Psychology (Honours). Following completion of Psychology (Honours), graduates may apply to study for a higher degree in psychology.
The Graduate Diploma in Psychology requirements are detailed in the course resolutions and the unit of study table.
