Environmental Studies
Honours unit of study table (Table A)
Honours in Environmental Studies is embedded within the Bachelor of Advanced Studies. It includes a 36-credit point research project incorporating the study of how social and bio-physical phenomena intersect to generate environmental outcomes, and what this means for humans and the places they inhabit. Students will also complete two 6-credit point coursework units that will aid in the development of fundamental research, ethical research practices, and communication skills.
Honours in Environmental Studies is available to students with a major in Environmental Studies or a cognate area. Admittance into the program is determined by the Faculty of Science as well as the Environmental Studies honours coordinator.

An awareness of science in a societal context, e.g., of disciplinary applications P 144 credit points of units of study and including a minimum of 24 credit points at the 3000- or 4000-level and 18 credit points of 3000- or 4000-level units from Science Table A or Medicine and Health Table A. Mid-year honours students would take this unit of study in S1 (their second semester of study). |
