Plant Production

Honours unit of study table (Table A)

Honours in Plant Production is available via an appended or an embedded or an integrated Honours, depending on the degree a student is enrolled in. The program is normally taken at the end of third year. It involves a 24-credit point research project undertaken in a field of study relevant to plant production. It also includes two 6-credit point selective coursework units that will allow students to develop a greater depth of knowledge in plant production. The selective units are chosen from a small number of relevant units of study.

A further 12-credit points of coursework is required to complete the degree requirements for the Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Advanced Studies, if not completed already, these could be used to complete a second major. To view a full list of potential supervisors offering plant production projects please visit the Honours Hub on the SOLES Student Portal Canvas site.

Honours is available to students who have a completed major in an area relevant to their project and have met the requirements outlined in the resolutions. Admittance into the program is determined by the Faculty of Science as well as the honours coordinator.
