2 Apply contemporary multidisciplinary and integrated knowledge of sustainability principles to complex agricultural and environmental systems of interwoven environmental, economic and social scenarios.
3 Critically evaluate the validity and quality of information sources in agriculture and environment and identify knowledge gaps.
4 Investigate, critically analyse and synthesise complex problems in economic, environmental and social contexts using evidence-based research in agricultural and environmental systems with strong personal autonomy and accountability.
5 Apply advanced research principles and skills in quantitative and/or qualitative analysis techniques to analyse problems with creativity and initiative and adapt research findings to novel contexts to create positive outcomes and change.
6 Resolve ethical dilemmas in topics such as food, soil and water security, to develop professional and ethical capacities for individual and group contexts.
7 Interpret research findings and methodologies to create and evaluate interventions for professional practice in agriculture and environment.
8 Communicate and translate research findings and concepts on topics relating to agriculture and environment from practice to specialist and non-specialist audiences.
