The Central Sydney Planning Strategy

Lecture for the Central Sydney Planning Strategy
The draft Central Sydney Planning Strategy 2012-2036 revises previous planning controls and attempts to deliver on the City of Sydney’s Sustainable Sydney 2030 program.

The Strategy is the product of the most detailed review of city centre planning controls since the City’s first comprehensive planning strategy in 1971. The strategy supports opportunities for additional height and density in the right locations, balanced with environmental sustainability initiatives and sets criteria for excellence in urban design. Key priorities of the plan include prioritising employment growth and increasing capacity.
