Strategic urban planning explained
This month Professor Peter Phibbs delivered two community talks on strategic urban planning where he discussed the historic beginnings of town planning and the modernisation of urban development.

Council is developing directions for land and environment planning over the next 20 years. This month Professor Peter Phibbs delivered free community talks where strategic urban planning in plain language for the Inner West Community. 

The talks were delivered in Ashfield and Balmain. Over the two nights more than 100 members of the public gathered to hear an entertaining talk about the historic beginnings of town planning, the modernisation of urban development, and how the current NSW Planning System may effect them today.
