Log cabin - alumni and non-residents (week day) Minimum charge $150 up to 3 nights (Mon to Thurs) and $80 for each additional night.

Application process


Applicant must be enrolled or waiting for acceptance to the University of Sydney.


A completed application must be submitted to the house by completing the online application and paying the AU$100 application fee by credit card.

Start your application

The application process requires you to prove your commitment to global learning and to demonstrate your past community engagement. Once received, your application will be acknowledged by a confirmation email. Your application will be assessed according to the timeline below. 


Applicants who are successful will be sent an offer. This will include information regarding the residential agreement and acceptance fees.


The applicant will then need to accept the offer by returning the signed residential agreement and acceptance fees to the house by the deadline. This is a legally binding document setting out the conditions and obligations attached to residence.

Full year accommodation and affiliate applications

We will begin assessing applications on the 1 September each year. After that the turn-around time is 7 days.

Returning residents will not be allocated room choices until after the 15 October each year.

Semester 1 only accommodation and affiliate applications

We will begin assessing applications on the 1 September each year. After that the turn-around time is 7 days.

Semester 2 only accommodation and affiliate program applications

We will begin assessing applications on the 1 March each year. After that the turn-around time is 7 days.
