Emerging Health Leaders Program

A unique experience to develop yourself as a leader

This program will equip you with concepts, tools and techniques to be prepared for the transition to leadership roles in the rapidly changing and increasingly challenging healthcare system.

This three-day residential program is a collaboration between the University of Sydney Faculty of Medicine and Health and Business School.  It brings together a group of subject matter experts in leadership with a long track record of experience in a wide range of healthcare organisations and other industries. This program has been specifically designed for senior frontline healthcare sector leaders to equip them with the skillsets necessary to transition to formal leadership roles. 

It will provide a unique educational experience with opportunities to network with colleagues and to hear from international experts about their personal experiences leading in clinical settings.  

In order to be accepted onto the program you will need to be a health professional who is considering, or is already in, an established leadership role.

Time:

9am - 4.30pm each day

The evening dinner session will commence at 6.30pm on Thursday and Friday.

Course structure: 

This is a 3 day residential program which includes 2 nights accommodation and all meals.

Friday will include a private wine tasting experience for our group at Borrodell Sky Bar. This will be followed by a special 3-course program dinner at Borrodell Restaurant with guest speaker Chris Milross.  

Fees $7,500 inc GST Residential (two nights accommodation and all meals included)
  $7,000 inc GST Non-Residential (accommodation not included)

Cancellations between 30 and 20 business days prior to the commencement date, will receive a 50% refund of the registration fee. There will be no refunds after the 28th October 2022.
