Sustainable workforce

The aged care workforce includes clinicians, nurses, allied health professionals, care workers, and other support staff. Having a workforce that understands and can respond to a changing aged care environment, where consumer choice and expectations of high-quality care are the norm, requires innovation in the way care is delivered.

CDPC research teams have evaluated the aged care workforce in a variety on contexts. This development and review of innovative programs has provided a body of evidence-based recommendations, and information about building a sustainable aged care workforce.
