Our students benefit from research-led teaching throughout our undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum.
The Conservatorium is the University of Sydney's music hub. Our staff engage in active enquiry into diverse areas of research, including:
- artistic research (composition, performance-based research)
- music pedagogy (music education, technology and teaching)
- music scholarship (musicology, ethnomusicology, music history, music theory, popular music)
- applied music research (music cognition and music training).
