Personal Conduct

Students must:

  • treat others with respect regardless of:
    • gender
    • religion
    • race
    • sexuality
    • disability
  • act honestly and ethically
  • use University resources responsibly and safely
  • support academic freedom and freedom of speech for themselves and others.

Academic Conduct

Students must:

  • contribute to learning through honest, open, and respectful discussion
  • promote high academic standards
  • act honestly and ethically in all academic matters
  • commit to a culture of academic integrity, which means avoiding all forms of academic integrity breaches and plagiarism
  • work collaboratively and contribute equitably to group work.

We must:

  • welcome student participation in academic governance
  • provide opportunities for students to share feedback
  • treat students fairly, honestly, transparently, and with courtesy, without discrimination based on:
    • gender
    • religion
    • race
    • sexuality
    • disability
  • respond to complaints and work collaboratively to resolve them fairly
  • comply with all our own rules, policies, and procedures.
