Formation of soot and nanoparticles in turbulent flames

Summary

This PhD project will look at the development, validation and application of computational models for the formation of soot and other nano-scale particles in turbulent flames. The successful applicant will look at sectional methods and should have an interest in stochastic Monte Carlo approaches for modelling aerosol dynamics.
