Synopsis

Structures gradually deteriorate over time and are prone to damage from accidents, misuse, and extreme natural events. Corrosion of reinforcement is a significant deteriorating mechanism in reinforced concrete structures. Furthermore, the need for more structurally sound infrastructure has led to the introduction and development of advanced machine learning methods for structural health monitoring.
