Several Cochrane Reviews have identified a lack of evidence to support interventions about sexuality and intimacy. Our research group have worked with stroke survivors, partners of stroke survivors and clinicians to develop a stepped-care approach to addressing sexual dysfunction (IRISS) among stroke survivors. We are now evaluating the feasibility of using a similar approach to intervention with people living with other chronic disease and disability.
