Synopsis

The study tries to theorise how selected organisational level interventions/setups impact on project performance, and to empirically validate the effects. Factors examined so far includes organisational control modes (e.g. outcome control, behavioural control, clan control), project management offices (PMO), project reviews and project sponsorship; Main thoretical perspectives adopted include organisational learning theory, organisational control theory and goal-setting theory.
