About Associate Professor Dieter Hochuli

A/Prof Dieter Hochuli's research is focussed on the ecology of insects and spiders and how they respond to human impacts. His research groups aims to answer one of ecology’s most fundamental questions: how important is species diversity to ecosystem function?

A/Prof Hochuli is fascinated by animals like insects and spiders and curious about what they actually do. His work examines their interactions with their environments and the way in which our activities affect their ecology, particularly with respect to the ecosystem services they provide.

A/Prof Dieter Hochuli runs the Integrative Ecology Group, at the School of Life and Environmental Sciences
