About Associate Professor Steven Cumming
How do psychological factors such as stress, anxiety and worry impact upon wellbeing and health, particularly among health professionals and their clients?
My expertise is in exploring and understanding the interaction between psychological variables and health-related outcomes.
I am currently in projects investigating the impact of stuttering on workplace experiences, and the cognitive mediators of Deliberate Self Harm. Previously I have examined the relationship between alcohol expectancies and drinking behaviour, and the impact of stress on diagnostic decision making.
