About Dr Svetlana Postnova

Dr Svetlana Postnova is a circadian and sleep physicist focusing on understanding the role of internal biological cocks and sleep in healthy physiology and disease development. Her current research projects range from biophysical modelling of the brain and brain-body interaction in regulation of sleep and alertness to collaborative real-world experiments. A common theme that motivates all her research is applications in the real-world and translation to technologies and tools to benefit society.

Dr Svetlana Postnova is a Senior Lecturer in Neurophysics and Brain Dynamics at the School of Physics.  She is also a member of the Brain and Mind Centre as well as member of the Charles Perkins Centre.
