About Dr Floris Van Ogtrop
Dr Floris van Ogtrop's primary research interests are hydrological modelling, drought, and investigating links between water and human, animal, and plant health. Floris uses field surveillance, lab experiments, computer modelling and data science to investigate these phenomena.
Dr Ogtrop's further research interests are in applied statistics for seasonal climate forecasting, hydrological prediction and environmental modeling.
Dr Floris van Ogtrop is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Life and Environmental Sciences, and a member of the Sydney Institute of Agriculture.
