About Dr Sonia Liu

Dr Sonia Liu's research interests include sustainable poultry production via advanced nutritional strategies, including application of crystalline amino acids in reduced protein diets, whole grain feeding to improve gut integrity, supplementation of exogenous enzyme to reduce nitrogen and phosphorous excretion and optimising digestive dynamics of nutrient to improve feed efficiency.


Dr Sonia Liu is a lecturer in Poultry Nutrition at the School of Life and Environmental Sciences.  She is also a member of the Charles Perkins Centre.
