About Associate Professor Guy Roth

A/Prof Roth’s interests are focused on improving the productivity of farmers, fostering healthy and sustainable rural communities, contributing to agricultural education and facilitating research – industry collaborations.

His specific research interests span crop water relations, soil management, dryland cropping systems, remote sensing, digital and precision agriculture, food provenance, irrigation scheduling, and agricultural sustainability reporting.

A/Prof Roth is the Director of Northern Agriculture, Plant Breeding Institute and researcher at the School of Life and Environmental Sciences. He is also a member of the Sydney Institute of Agriculture.
